there’s a quote that kinda reminds me of this subject, and it says “there is a seat waiting for you at tables you haven’t even seen yet.” it always makes me feel better and knows that what’s meant for me will not pass me by 🤍🤍
oh how beautiful — i definitely resonate with the idea that the universe has a grander plan than we can currently envision ana giving ourselves the gift of understanding that and letting that guide our reactions in life is absolutely wonderful. thank you for this stunning & empowering piece <3
Such beautiful writing. I think you’ll really appreciate the work of Jeanette Winterson. Her novels, in my opinion truly capture the essence of the human condition, and how everything stems down to love. How we love one another, and how we treat one another.
Life is a mystery we’ll never be able to solve, but we try to solve it anyway, we create multiple solutions to our solitude, to our pain, through art, music, books etc.
Start with Lighthousekeeping or her Written on The Body. I think it will resonate with you, and will always make you want to live outside the restricted box that we call life ♥️
The fact that this crossed my feed today of all days supports my belief that, as you said, things happen for a reason. My mother had a similar saying, a way of calming me even when I lose the most seemingly-precious opportunities. “If it is for your peace, I pray it happens.” A rough translation from Arabic, but my mom’s wish to me, always. My peace. Not happiness not wealth nor success. But my peace. And in a world that looks like… well, today, that is a prayer I appreciate on the daily.
that is SO beautiful. peace is what matters most, especially when everything else feels uncertain. it’s clear she really understood how important that is. thank you so much for sharing this! i loved it 🤍
This is too relatable I might say. But reading this from your perspective, it dawned to me that a part of this belief, or truth, is just a way to cope how much life denies of us.
Wow — reading this made me realise this was a thought I’ve had for years but no way of understanding how to express it. Odd that this article comes up now, feels like a nudge from the universe. Your writing feels comforting, maybe for the first time today I can let go from forcing things and truly just start to accept. Thank you for this lovely piece :)
that truly means so much to me. it’s a strange and beautiful feeling when something you’ve been holding onto for so long finally clicks into place. i’m really glad this found you at the right time. sometimes letting go is the hardest part, but it’s also where things start to make sense on their own. thank you for sharing this, it made my day 🤍
This writing is so beautiful and I hope people will try to live by this. My mom always says to me that everything happens for a reason so I really resonate with this. Just trusting in yourself and believing that your life is supposed to turn out the way it's supposed to can be comforting in crazy times. Sometimes the really bad was meant to happen to give space for the really good. Daunting but exciting.
thank you so much for this, it means a lot. your mom’s words are so wise, and i love how you connected them to this. trusting the journey, even through the tough times, is such a powerful way to see things. i’m so glad this resonated with you 🤍
this post just popped in my timeline. it was a perfect timing, now that i’m starting to feel sad and hopeless, it was a nice reminder of the uncertainty of life, and how it comes and goes in very, very, very mysterious ways. it also reminded of this new movie: memoir of a snail, and how pinky said that we can only understand life backwards, but that we need to live forwards. the rewards of life might not be clear now, but in the future, now will make sense. thank you!
i really appreciate this! it’s funny how things seem to show up right when we need them. that quote is so true, as sometimes we don’t understand things until much later. i hope things start to feel a little better for you soon. thank you for sharing this with me!

that is such a pretty quote! i have never heard it before. thank you for sharing it 🤍
I read a similar quote that said "you still haven't lived the best days of your life" and it makes me hopeful of what's to come :))
Maybe it’s the pms, maybe this struck a nerve why am I crying
i love that

yesss everything happens for a reason 🫶🏾 once again, you nailed it <33
thank you so much 🤍 your words always bring a little spark of warmth. it's great to know you feel that way too.
This is too relatable I might say. But reading this from your perspective, it dawned to me that a part of this belief, or truth, is just a way to cope how much life denies of us.
This is where my head went immediately.
When we lose an opportunity—or give up on a dream—life doesn’t pause and wait for us to catch up. It contracts.
The accolades, the doors, the momentum tied to those missed steps… they’re gone.
What we’re left with are the pieces of the life we didn’t build.
And we’re supposed to make something new out of them.
But the more opportunities I miss, the smaller life feels.
So when I hear “nothing meant for you will pass you by,”
I can’t help but ask:
Is this what was meant for me?
Can I see what's behind door #2
Our thoughts are so similar. This is exactly what i think too.<3
Such an wonderful piece
